Tech-house with intricate sounds, locked-in grooves, and endless layers. A refugee subtext haunts the background.

"Escape" has a dreamlike vibe, along with sharp, precise hats and a rubbery bass line inspired by 70s disco funk. "Ice" brings a cold, dramatic sound reminiscent of Underworld. "Not From Here" is a solid, reflective groover which started life in SuperCollider, where it was constructed entirely in code. Four blog posts on truthindustri.es, adding up to a little under 10,000 words total, explain that code in detail (and embed the original version). The remix adds an analog synth, a more dancefloor-friendly kick, a bass line, vocals, effects, and more. The EP finishes out with "Emerge," a dark, acidic stormer.
